Clog the Patoka

Join us for the annual ‘CLOG THE PATOKA', hosted by the good people of Winslow, Indiana. We’ll enjoy a spirited float down the Patoka River.


This event draws hundreds of people and if we don’t clog the river, we’ll at minimum clog the road and boat ramp!

We'll start the float at the Survant Station boat ramp in Pike State Forest, and float 8 miles to our take out in Winslow’s city park.
 This float will take approximately 6 hours. Pack your lunch in your boat.

WHAT TO BRING

• PFD

• Sunscreen

• Dry bag with change of clothes
• Packed lunch, snacks, and water

LOGISTICS

We'll carpool from Lowe’s at 7:00am.
Logistics for put-in vary each year; we’ll watch the Clog the Patoka page on Facebook for last-minute directions.


Typically, drivers drop off yaks and passengers at the put-in, and then drive to the take-out, where the locals offers free shuttles to the put-in for drivers.

COST

• This event is free. (Consider pitching in for gas, and tip the shuttle driver!)

GROUND RULES

• Children allowed with legal guardian
• Pets allowed
• Alcohol consumption is common amongst attendees, however the Co-op strongly discourages drinking while kayaking for safety.
