Rudy Mine Trails

We will be taking portions of the Red, Yellow, and Brown trails to get to the Blue trail loop, which is approximately 6.2 miles. We'll return on the Green trail.

• Difficulty: Moderate (Smooth, but hilly)
• Length: Up to 7 miles
• Special Considerations: This is a shared trail for mountain bikes and hikers; hikers are expected to step off the trail to yield to cyclists.

What to bring

• bug spray
• water
• sturdy shoes; expect mud due to all of the rain we've had lately
• snacks to eat while hiking the trail; places to stop and eat are limited
• picnic lunch (optional)

Notes

Picnic tables are available near the parking lot. You may wish to leave a lunch in the car while hiking and partake afterwards at the picnic tables before heading back home.
