USI Trails

USI has an extensive trail system. Let’s do a lap around campus and explore a bit! Plan for around 3 miles. Dogs welcome on a fixed leash.--- More Break --- (No retractable leashes.)

• Difficulty: Easy to Moderate.
• Trail Conditions: Variety of dirt trails, gravel roadbed, paved greenway, open fields, and sandstone creek beds.
• Length: 3 miles
• Skill Level: All levels welcome, no prior experience required
• Requirements: Good physical health

What to Bring

• Sturdy shoes for hiking
• Day Bag with snacks and water
• Sunscreen, bug spray
• Walking stick or hiking poles (optional)

Ground Rules

• Dogs are permitted on a 6ft leash (fixed, non-retractable).
