Exploration Series: Twin Swamps and Opilwalacha Slough

I’m scouting locations for future events, and you’re welcome to join. Expect a casual pace, some wandering, and a bit of unknown since we’ll be figuring things out as we go.

• Length: 1.25 miles
• Terrain: Dirt trail and boardwalks
• Pace: Relaxed

What to Bring

• Long pants
• Sturdy hiking shoes or boots
• Water (at least 1L)
• Sunscreen and bug spray
• Walking stick or hiking poles (optional)
• Clean shoes for the car ride home (leave in the car)

Schedule

No strict itinerary. Plan for 1-2 hours outside at each location.

• No dogs. (Twin Swamps permits on-leash, but our follow-up hike does not).
