Exploration Series: Cane Ridge & Saunders Woods

I’m scouting locations for future events, and you’re welcome to join. Expect a casual pace, some wandering, and a bit of unknown since we’ll be figuring things out as we go.

• Difficulty: TBD - we're going to find out!
• Length: TBD - but plan for 2-3 miles
• Terrain: Reportedly level, but no formal trail system.
• Pace: Relaxed.

What to Bring

• Long pants
• Sturdy hiking shoes or boots
• Day pack
• Water (at least 1L)
• Snacks and/or packed lunch (can leave in car)
• Sunscreen and bug spray
• Walking stick or hiking poles (optional)
• Clean shoes for the car ride home (leave in the car)

Schedule

No strict itinerary. Plan for a few hours outside.

We’ll meet at Lowe's at 12:30PM to carpool and decide from there.

Ground Rules

• Leave no trace, pack out all your trash.
• No children.
• Dogs permitted on 6ft fixed leash.

Notes

There are no established trails - we might be bushwacking, or wandering aimlessly while we explore.
