Spring Mill State Park

Join The Co-op For A Day Hike At Spring Mill State Park During The Peak Of The Fall Season.

Plan to meet at Lowe's at 9:00 AM (CT). We'll carpool to the State Park for a day of hiking. It is going to be a 2-hour drive but it should be worth it!(If you are planning to meet us directly at the park, please let us know by leaving a comment below. A link to our exact start location is also included below.)Hiking begins by 11:00 AM (CT). Lunch will be eaten on the trail.We'll do the Full Loop (~5-6 mi; ~3 hours; Moderate; 4.6/5 on AllTrails).Usually, the Pioneer Village closes mid-October, however, on the November 2 weekend, it will be open for a craft show, so we are lucky and will be able to explore the Pioneer Village as well as the Nature Center for around one hour. Once we've seen enough and explored everything we wanted to explore, we will head back to Evansville.

• People who enjoy longer hikes and appreciate historic buildings and villages.

What To Bring:

• Sturdy shoes for hiking
• Water (for drinking) and snacks
• Food for lunch on the trail
• Sunscreen

• We'll hike around 5-6 miles.
• Trail is rated moderate.
• The park has restrooms.

Cost:

Drivers will have a $7 park entrance fee at Spring Mill SP.
