Enjoy three out-and-back trails at Yellow Birch Ravine Nature Preserve in Taswell, IN. This will make for an easy, scenic hike along a ravine stream bed with steep, rocky cliffs. One trail takes us to a natural arch.

- Sturdy shoes for hiking
- Long pants (for stinging nettles)
- Day Bag
- Water (for drinking) and snacks
- Packed lunch (eaten on trail)
- Sunscreen and Bug spray
- Walking stick or hiking poles (optional)
- Clean shoes for the car ride (leave in the car)
WHEN/WHERE

- 09:00 - Meet at Lowe's to Carpool
- 10:00 - Rendezvous at I-64 and IN-37 Marathon
- 10:30 - Arrive at trailhead
- 12:00 - Lunch on trail
- 13:30 - Wrap up hike
- 15:00 - arrive in Evansville
NOTES
- Parking is limited to 2 vehicles. Carpool from Evansville or meet up at I-64 and IN-37 (exit 79).
- There are reports of stinging nettle on the trail. Wear long pants just in case!
- If it's rained recently, there will be water crossings. Consider packing some water shoes if you want to get your feet wet!.
GROUND RULES
- Leave no trace, and pack out all your trash.
- No children.
- Dogs on a 6-ft fixed leash.
