Join Evansville Outdoors for a day hike at the Tipsaw Lake in the Hoosier National Forest near Leopold, IN.
Plan to meet at Lowe's at 9:00 AM (CST). We'll carpool to HNF for a day of hiking. Hiking begins by 10:30a. Lunch will be eaten on the trail.
We'll hike the loop around the lake (6mi) over the course of ~4 hours.

- 9:00a - Meet at Lowe's to carpool
- 10:30a - Arrive at trailhead
- 12:00p - Lunch on trail
- 2:00p - depart for evansville
- 3:30p - arrive in Evansville

WHAT TO BRING:
- sturdy shoes for hiking
- water (for drinking) and snacks
- Packed lunch (in your day bag)
- Sunscreen and Bug spray
- walking stick or hiking poles (optional)

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE:
- These are mixed-use trails.
- There are a few creek crossings. Expect mud.
- Trails are rated moderate due to varied terrain and steep elevation changes.
- There are pit toilets at the campgrounds if needed (open seasonally). Plan to stop on the way (IN-37) for nicer restrooms.

GROUND RULES:
- Dogs permitted only upon approval from organizer
- Dogs are permitted off-leash on HNF trails, but otherwise must be on six-foot leash.
- Leave no trace, and pack out all your trash.
